来年2015年に日本で第23回世界スカウトジャンボリーが開催されます。
先日本校で開かれた第10回Japanese evening の催しに、ホーシャム地区からイギリス代表となった3名のスカウト隊員が来校、一足早く日本文化を経験しました。
来学期には、総勢36名のスカウト隊が本校を訪れ、翌年の日本でのジャンボリーに備えて本校生徒と交流します。
以下に、Japanese evening の際、引率として来校したスカウト隊リーダーからのお礼の手紙を紹介します。

Just wanted to say a big thank you for inviting us to the Japanese evening on Friday, the pupils were extremely polite and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The three Jamboree Scouts I took are even more excited about their trip to Japan next year – in fact I wish I was going with them! They can’t wait to tell the rest of their Jamboree Unit when they next meet.
