HOST FAMILIES NEEDED
Could you host our students? We are looking for local people and families (located within 20 miles of the school) to host our students during May half term and at other times throughout the year.
Our students are looking to stay with a family and experience home life in a UK household. It is an important part of their studying experience and is invaluable to their mastering of the English language.
Many of our families have been hosting our students for a number of years and find the cultural experience rewarding and enjoyable.
We ask that you take a minimum of two students for which you will be generously remunerated.

Rikkyo School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including us obtaining positive references and Disclosure & Barring Service checks (DBS).
In addition, we will also require you to have a Gas Safety Certificate (if applicable) valid at the time of the hosting, have read and understood our Safeguarding Policies (or taken an online course) and had accommodation and fire risk assessments undertaken by a member of our staff.
Please note that the programme depends on how many students wish to experience homestay so even if you are selected as being suitable there is no guarantee that you will have students allocated to you. However, if you have passed all the checks then you could be considered to host in the future.
