First of all I want to say thank you to Millais and Rikkyo school for giving me this opportunity to stay at Millais school. I experienced a lot of things in Millais school in a week.
Millais school was very interesting for me because everything was different to Rikkyo School. I think the main difference between Millais and Rikkyo was the personality of students. The students of Millais school were so energetic, but Rikkyo students are quiet. When I attended the lesson in the school, it was very different. We don't talk a lot during class, but Millais students talk a lot in classes and positive to the classes. I was also surprised how crowded the holeways were when all students were moving to different classes. When I followed my partner, I most lost her. I enjoyed silk painting class most because I had never done it before. The color of painting was beautiful.
All the students in Millais School were so nice and friendly. It was fun to hear the conversation between students before homeroom. I was not used to hearing the conversation between teenagers, so it was good practice to listen to them. During a week, I think my English improved because I had to use English in not only at school but also at home.
In Millais Scool I met students who are learning Japanese, and it was very new for me. When I met a girl who likes Studio Jibri, which is Japanese movie, I was happy to know the people who like not only Japanese language but also Japanese culture.
At home, my host family Mr. and Mrs. Lismer and Lauren were very nice and kind. They took me to London on Sunday, and I really enjoyed myself in there. All members of family were learning Japanese so it was fun for me to teach Japanese to them. I hope they would remember Japanese word which I taught. I was really happy that my host family greeted me in Japanese every day and saying "Itadakimasu" before eating meals. I want to keep in touch with them, and I hope to see them in Japanese Evening or Open Day in Rikkyo!
